Dawn is a proud “workforceologist” with over two decades of experience in various roles including job coach, WIA youth program manager, assistant director of workforce development for a municipal government, and chief operations and equal opportunity officer at a regional workforce board. Her accomplishments include implementing a large-scale co-enrollment strategy within an American Job Center to align seven agencies and over 10 funding streams and programs; creating a youth employment and education center; and supporting business services staff as they reimagined talent solutions and layoff support offerings.

 

Currently, Dawn is the owner, founder, and lead consultant at Talent Growth Group LLC and serves as the executive director of SkillsFWD at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. In this role, she supports a funder collaborative and pilots advancements in skills-based hiring using Learning and Employment Records (LERs) within various educational and workforce board environments.

 

She thrives on partnering with teams to drive innovation and human-centered design, enhance operational systems, navigate federal workforce law and policy allowances, pilot new technologies, and explore creative media partnerships. Dawn is passionate about teaching, learning, sharing, and collaborating. She looks forward to being inspired alongside your team and the communities you serve.
